Heading to Wittenberg today. Blogging from my iPhone for the first time. Will be evaluating the Wittenberg project and spending time with the exec committee of the international Lutheran council.
My husband and I (Rev. Aaron and Laura Koch) were there this past August...please greet Pastor Torgerson for us! I look forward to hearing how things are progressing...much work needs to be done! Such and wonderful place with some dedicated people. Check out the Colleg Wittenberg with Christian Eggers...right down the road from the building that is going to be renovated for Project Wittenberg I pray for Christ's protection as you travel.
My wife (also named Laura) and I had the pleasure of meeting Pr. Torgerson at the Doxology Reunion in Nebraska in August. He gleefully told us about finding out about your election, and about the multicolored Luther statuettes in the square while the real statue is being repaired. Please greet him for us as well!
Time lost is time when we have not lived a full human life, time unenriched by experience, creative endeavor, enjoyment, and suffering. ~Dietrich Bonhoeffer
